We supply a wide variety of poly bushes and bearings to suit a variety of PVC rollers. These rollers are most commonly used as inspection rollers where produce is rotated as it is transported along a grading line. An extended pin chain drives the rollers along the conveyor which are rotated as they bear against a plate under the rollers.
The produce is graded manually as it passes along the inspection roller conveyor. Typically these rollers are 40mm PVC with poly bushes fitted and a 4mm diameter hole in the bush which sits on an extended chain pin.
PVC rollers are also used as idler and return rollers for PVC belt conveyors. Bushes fit 40mm and 50mm PVC with various diameter centre holes – generally 4mm, 10mm, 12mm and 20mm diameter.
These plastic housing bearings are available to suit continuous running and non-continuous running roller.
Continuous running PVC rollers are supplied with a precision roller bearing inside the plastic housing. They are commonly used with a continuously running conveyor belt.
Non-continuous running rollers use steel balls with a plastic roller housing. These rollers carry cartons on an occasional basis, generally pushed or gravity fed.
These bungs are used where rollers are chain driven and the extended pins fit into Adelaine bungs as a support and pivot point.
